I knew this week wouldn’t bring much riding and I was right, until it did.
Rain, rain and more rain pissed down on Michiganderburgh the past couple days. The only things that made that tolerable was warm temps and knowing that in a month’s time, all that rain could be snow. With that in mind, I finally got a chance to head out on the extremely, soft and muddy dirt roads of central Michigan on Wednesday, utilizing my Farely, ’cause you know, in a month it COULD be freaking snow, I might as be prepared! Of course the snow is that is why I bought a freaking fat bike, so let it snow bitches! No, no, not really, I’d rather it not
It was nice to get out and slog through the mud and the Farley was a great option for the deep mud and sand. To be honest, other than that, I don’t have all that much to say abut the ride, so I’ll just share some pics I took and leave it at that.
A Michigan deluxe apartment in the sky… That you can shoot from.

One of the many, many farms I rolled past today.

With Thanksgiving next month, these turkeys seemed a bit nervous.
*
It just wouldn’t be ride if I didn’t stumble upon a roadside carcass.
I can’t even figure out what this is, maybe a stegosaurus?

Always easy to spot which corn fields are Amish in the fall.

Car, truck, Farley , tractor.

“For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it’s headed my way.
Sometimes I grow so tired, but I know I’ve got one thing I got to do… Ramble on.”

Later.
