Whether this photos is a scream, a cry for help or a yawn from Jake (the dog), it makes no difference. It pretty much sums up the week thus far.
Illness 2015 entered into its 5th day today but I still managed to climb on the trainer in the Stankment™ for an hour this morning. The first ten minutes sucked. The next forty minutes were OK and the last ten were tolerable. In the end I felt like a sweaty, clammy, piece of baloney coffered in stubbly hair.
The good news (I guess) is that I feel better than I have since Friday morning and that the weather (knocking on various bits of wood n’at) is supposed to warm up in the coming ten days. We may see the mid-forties by the middle of next week.
There was a good deal of melt going on today and I got some pretty neat pics of it. Then I accidentally deleted those pics and ended up with nothing. So I took a few more… sadly, by that time everything was froze again. Brilliant.
Oh well, it was nice to be on the bike again today, even if it was inside and I felt like shit. Hoping that this mess of a cold clears out by the weekend and I can get some actual miles in.
