A good summer month of lumbering for me is roughly 120 to 130 miles. July was not one of those months.
A combination of extreme heat and humidity, Canadian wildfire smoke, appliance repairmen in the house, and an intense battle with the black dog had my July screwed.

BUT!! Somehow I still managed just under 90 miles of lumbering, and this week I finally got back to my normal goal of 30 (miles) in 5 (weekdays) and finished with 30.30 miles in my feetz.
In addition to the lumbering, the week has been busy, and I’ve been enjoying some well-deserved inner peace after a couple of weeks of intense self-loathing and personal, local, and worldly misanthropy. It’s like someone literally lifted a 16-ton weight off my back.

Having said all that bullshit, I don’t have much else to say (you’re welcome), so in addition, I’m just posting a few pics taken since the last time I sullied your eyes.
