Squeezing Words In

The week of lumbering continues to progress nicely, with a nugget’s hair over 24 miles in my feetz after this morning, along with some OK-ish pics; nothing great, but some nice critter memories.

Not sure what is going on this week, but a rare combination of various appointments, errands, and responsibilities has left me feeling like fleetfooted headless chicken—thus a lack of posts and very few words today. It’s all good, though, so no bitching on this end.

Instead of words, I give you a host of crap photos I took this week.

If all goes according to plan, I should hit my 30 in 5 goal tomorrow, and leave the weekend open for a short ride and/or photo creep.

Side Note: Today is my late mother’s birthday. She passed away at age 55. I turn 55 next month, so that is a bit of a kick in the junk to imagine. Her support and love, as well as the bravery she showed during her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, will never be forgotten by me. My only regret is that she never got to meet my son. I’ve written about her multiple times here, but THIS post will always be one of my favorites.

Later.

THE SOILED SOUNDS TRACK OF THE POST

Today’s track of the post is the song Key Metre Romance from the latest Eel Men EP entitled Glass Hammers.

It’s a rollicking upbeat tune that seems heavily influenced by long-time favorites of mine like The Jam, Wire, and Gang of Four. I’m in love! Ha!
