The week of lumbering was good, I guess. I mean, I was in the woods each day getting some miles in, so that’s always good, but until today, it was like living one rainy 96-hour-long day.

Today’s conditions were the best of the week, and it was also the worst I felt all week. On top of that, the dynamic duo of gab known as the Chatty Cathys showed up on the main loop about 2 miles in, and let every critter in the tricounty area know how their weeks have been going. “LINDA CALLED FROM FLORIDA ON TUESDAY, SHE SAID IT’S MUGGY DOWN THERE!!”

Due to my tiredness that sort of came out of nowhere, and the Cathy’s chatting at max volume just after 7 in the morning, I only did a 5.54-mile loop and fell short of my 30 miles in 5 days goal by less than a half mile.
Not too worried about that, because I’m sure I’ll find myself out somewhere over the weekend getting in at very least a half mile.

I didn’t know how I missed focus until I got home and saw the file!
Later.
