The week, or at least the past two days (from the perspective of a woodsy lumberist, not real life, no one wants to hear about that bullshit), has been more of the same in a good way:

Up early, coffee up, dump out, drive to the trails, lumber nearly two miles in the light of my headlamp, watch the sunrise through the trees, take some photos, get 6+ miles in my feetz, come home, make a double espresso, have breakfast (my normal, 1 egg/3 egg white mild cheddar cheese omelette, homemade turkey sausage patty, and some crispy homemade shredded hash browns, all topped with Tipatio hot sauce), clean kitchen, start my “real” day.

Now THAT is a routine I can get behind. I wish I could say the same for the next 20 hours of my day, but as the good book says, “Could Be Worse.”

I had some decent luck with photos the past two days, even if some are just autumn environmental shots. And the two bucks I got images of were unique in their own way; one being an absolute unit, and the other having antlers that couldn’t decide which way to grow. I thought I had seen it all with last year’s shot of a buck with only a left antler, and now I have got one that looks like he’s trying to go full water buffalo.

Right now, I sit at 24.18 miles on the week, and should hit my 30-mile weekly goal tomorrow. There will be much rejoicing.

In other news, the first episode of B’s documentary For The Law of The Game premieres tonight at 7 PM on YouTube. Once it’s up, I’ll embed it here. He seems to be having fun not only with the directing and editing (his thing), but also with the actual coaching!
