As “weeks” of lumbering go, this one was pretty good, coming in at 30.60 miles in 5 days, and sitting at just under 95 miles over 16 hikes the month so far.
Good stuff, but of course, it’s just a weak stream of piss in an ocean of aging adipose tissue and worldly apathy. Still, it beats not doing it. I mean, who would take photos of the forest critters if I didn’t??? Don’t answer that.

What wasn’t good stuff this week was my “picture takin’. I really struggled to find willing subjects, and just felt off my game in the creativity department; thus, no blog posts.

Random camper in the middle of Raceway Trail. Strange indeed.
The crap photos here today were spread out over a few days of lumbering at Deerfield with my Sony A6700, and the macro shots were shot at the Sylvan Solace Preserve during a short photo creep with my Nikon Z6 and 105mm macro lens.

Looking forward to more miles in the coming days and hopefully some better creative mojo and luck with photos.
Later.
