Chattiness Avoided

Another week of lumbering started with a 5.77-mile loop in some non-spring-like conditions (34˚ and flurries). But hey, there was NO ice or snow on the trails, and there were critters out and about, so it at least gave the illusion that spring will come… someday.

My goal for the lumber was my normal 6-mile loop, but just as I was about to head down one trail, I saw a couple of Chatty Cathys (not the original CCs) and thought it best to head the opposite direction, given the chattiness of said Cathys. I’ll take missing out on .23 of a mile over awkward conversations while passing and critters spooked by The Cathys.
