Dank Lumbers & Feeling That Vibe

It was kind of a dank morning for a lumber, but with the snow and ice gone, I really don’t care what the weather is like now, so lumber I did.

While the lumber was not hindered by the morning’s dankness, the white sky made shooting birds above nearly impossible. I tried every trick I know from the book (so far), both in camera and in Lightroom, and couldn’t salvage anything. Which sucks because one image was of a red-winged blackbird noshing on some tree buds, and I dug it. But, alas, nothing.

The intro photo of the chickadee is from earlier in the week. I did some additional editing on it last night to keep my juices flowing and figured I’d use that because all I ended up with today is one deer and a goose stuffing its face with river grass. Mmmm!

While the photography sucked today, the hike was awesome, and I covered over seven miles for the third day in a row, and have 27.38 miles on the week. I have to say, I don’t know if I ever did that many miles in just four days! Being Fat and Fit is a vibe, man.

Later.
