The week’s lumbering mission has been accomplished; 30.65 miles in 5, and the weekend is now wide open for photo creeping, footy watching, lawn mowing, beer quaffing, and general mischief.
Friday’s lumber was in much cooler temps with WAY less humidity, but I still struggled to find willing subjects to photograph. All I was able to get was another river deer and some of the fungus that is blowing up in the woods; neither being all that great.

I also accomplished my second mission: baking Wifey’s birthday cake. It was a sugar-free success that I will most likely never taste due to sugar-free foods having an über laxative effect on my system. She’ll love it, though, and that is the point of baking someone a cake for their birthday.
That’s it, the sun is shining, there’s a wonderful breeze, there’s World Cup footy on at 3 PM (C’MON YOU CANUCKS!!), beer in the fridge, and Wifey will be home shortly after five to celebrate her birthday. LET’S GO!!!
Later.
