Monochrome: Fall

rotting flower in black and white

Fall is a time of pumpkin-spiced everything, crap Oktoberfest beers, and forests filled with bright orange, yellow, and red leaves. It is also a time of rot and decay.

Once vibrant plants and flowers wither and die, as they return to the dirt from which they rose last spring. Soon they will lie under the ice and snow of the coming winter; their colors all but forgotten as they decay and become part of the very soil that will help them bloom again when the warm sunshine returns in half a year’s time.

Fall is apparently also a time of shitty blog text filled with morose hyperbole.

Later.
