I decided that I didn’t really care if I hit 30 miles this week, and 26.5 would be enough for me. However, I still found myself in the woods for a bit on Saturday morning to practice some macro shots at the Sylvan Solace Preserve.

Sylvan keeps a few “pollinator” flower beds in the preserve to attract bees and shit, and that’s what I was after on Saturday. Sadly, the morning temperatures were a bit low, and all I saw were some spiders, flies, and other leaf-eaters.

For the macro shots, I used my Nikon z6 with the Nikkor Z 105mm f/2.8 Macro Lens along with an 11mm extension tube. Everything was shot handheld.

Among the pictures, I also included a shot of a Red-bellied Woodpecker visiting the bird stick a few days ago.

Later.
