I had a bit of free time on my hands this morning, so I monkeyed around with some recent pics, utilizing some textures I recently found in the computer web thing. Some worked, some didn’t, some were too much and some added just enough of what I was looking for.

A Lost Weekend
The past few days have been filled with lots of things. Lots of things that were in no way me riding my bike. That sucks. Actually, that rocked.
What, WHAT?
When In Doubt
Some say that if you have nothing worth blogging about, you shouldn’t blog at all. I disagree, I say that is the time to post photos of Jake The Dog…
There was no riding of any kind today since B-Man’s school was cancelled due to heavy fog (yes, I said heavy fog). That was hard to take since it was freaking bee-a-YOU-tee-fool all day.
Oh well, there’s always tomorrow… unless it’s foggy of course.
A New Way To Be Lazy
In my life I have had plenty of weekends where I have traveled, raced, rode and stacked up miles on the bike… this was not one of those weekends.
Vintage Velo Hipsters & Beer?
I was almost positive that this photo was the result of bike riding hipsters circa 1922. I assumed after some singlespeed, fixed gear, alley cat, bike polo type event they stacked their bikes outside a [insert hipster bike city of your choice here] dive bar while they were inside forcing down PBR oil cans. Turns out it was merely the result of every day folks who rode their bikes to the Palace Theatre in Cairns, Queensland, Australia (according the Internet). So disappointed.
Lack of Commitment
Yesterday’s short gravel ride was done in the hopes of doing a longer ride in cooler temps and less wind today. I got both, so a 41 mile road ride was planned. There were some storms in the forecast, but thus far the radar had looked clear. Let’s go!
Of course, I’ve been fooled by the weather radar before… and it appeared that it was about to happen again.
