A weekend of temps well above freezing has finally made the trails free of ice and snow. That meant today was the first day I successfully (that means I didn’t fall on my ass whilst attempting), completed a full loop in trail running shoes. It’s been since November, and it felt incredible!!!

Even better is that we are being teased by Ma Nature with sun and temps near 70˚ today. It’s not going to last, with the temps dipping back down to the 40s by mid-week, but take it while it’s here, because gahdamn I needed some spring-like weather!

I got a nice 6.48-mile loop in today, took some photos, and enjoyed a much-needed shot of springtime mojo.
