Overall, my week of lumbering was good. There wasn’t a ton of photos taken, but I felt good and ended my goal-shortened week with 26.41 miles in my feetz.
While not my normal 30, I was still happy because three of the days, as soon as I was done with the hike and breakfast, I was in the Not So Stankment, priming and painting B’s bedroom. Who knew you could work up a sweat rolling paint?
Speaking of that paint job, I am typing this dross at 5:30 AM on Saturday so that I can coffee up and get back downstairs to put on a second coat of paint before breakfast and the bulk of the footy comes on.
The majority of the firearm deer season will continue over the next week, but I’m hopeful that I can get back to my normal loops without getting shot. We’ll see what Monday morning brings.
I was happy to get the above photo of ‘Lil Henry. I’m certain I’ve seen him before (large body, small rack, no disrespect) while lumbering, and I was pleased to see that he’s still alive and staying in the park.’
Time to get painting.
Later.
