Lumbers and Creeps

I know it’s going to be May this week, but here in mid-Michigan, it finally feels like spring. Sort of.

I got another 30+ mile week in my feetz in five days again and experienced everything from hiking in shorts to dodging some snow flurries and high winds. Then, on Saturday, day one of two off from hiking, it rained, and we had Florida-like humidity.

On Saturday, the football sucked, and I hate not being outside, so I went to the Hall’s Lake Natural Area for photo creep around the woods with my Nikon z6. I also took along an extension tube and attempted to get some macro shots.

Saturday was also the first day of the 2024 in which bug spray was needed.

It’s been a busy week, thus no blathering on the blog about my walks in the woods (you’re welcome), and even this early Sunday morning, I feel like I should be doing something else other than writing this shit before Spurs surely get their 5th place buttocks spanked by Arsenal.

With that said, I’m off to make a breakfast burrito. The pics in this post were taken over the week of lumbering and Saturday’s photo creep.
