Not Bad Luck, Just Snow

Well, the Weather Mongers were not wrong, and I woke up to snow and high winds this morning. There were only a few inches at the time, but it was still coming down, and after four days of snowless hiking, I was not in the mood.

I would call it Friday the 13th bad luck, but it’s just snow, and I was more than content with a chill day, making my new favorite breakfast sandwich1, and then starting my day, sans 5-mile lumber.

As I shoveled (pushed) the last of the heavy, wet snow off the driveway, I thought about heading out, but then realized that on Saturday, there are no footy matches I want to watch until 11 AM, so I’ll have plenty of time to sneak out for my remaining weekly miles. Not to mention, in theory, there shouldn’t be too much snow left by tomorrow.

During my morning coffee, I also worked on some photos that I never got around to editing this week, had a reason to post, or were plain crap. I still don’t have a reason, and some are still crap, but that is what you see here today.

It really has been a crazy weather week, even by Michigan’s standards; sunny and 50˚ on Monday (high of 68˚), cloudy and 40˚ on Tuesday, freezing rain and 32˚ on Wednesday, Sunny and 27˚ on Thursday, and snow, rain, and high winds on Friday! Psycho weather, qu’est-ce que c’est? Fa-fa-fa-fa, fa-fa-fa-fa-fa, fa, better run, run, run, run, run, run, run away, oh-oh, oh!!!!!2
